About This Item:

Upgrade your cleansing regime with beneficial oils that lift dirt and makeup away but leave your skin soft and moisturized.  Grapefruit, lavender and geranium oils meld together with Vitamin E to create a luxe oil cleanser that dissolves pore clogging impurities. 

How to use:  Pump a small amount onto clean dry hands and massage over a dry face. Easily rinse away with water and a washcloth and follow up with The Activist Toning Mist. 

End of Life: When your jar is empty, save it and order a refill (and save 10%). Squeeze refill pouch into your container and recycle the pouch.

How to dispose of the refill pouches: The refill pouches are made of mylar, a lightweight, durable type of plastic. These pouches reduce shipping emissions (by 115%) and don't need the protection of boxes and padding during shipment (unlike glass). Each pouch can be recycled via TerraCycle, so you can drop used pouches in a TerraCycle drop box, or ship them back to Activist Skincare free of charge by requesting a shipping label. Before you get bummed about not being able to recycle the pouches easily, remember that the point of recycling is to reduce the waste of materials and energy, both of which you're already doing by refilling your containers with pouches that use way less resources than glass packaging! As green tech advances, so will Activist Skincare!

      Love everything I've tried from Activist!

      Everything I've tried from Activist has been amazing. I started out with travel sizes of the Vitamin C serum, Sea to Skin Cleansing Gel, and Botanical Cleansing Oil but have purchased full sizes of all. I have really dry, sensitive skin and my main concerns are sun/UV damage and making sure I'm taking good care of my skin as I age. Activist products have been great for that! I particularly love the Sea to Skin Cleansing Balm and Botanical Cleansing Oil, they feel so nourishing and are lovely to use! If you're on the fence I would suggest giving Activist products a try!

      Wonderful! ( But could still be more sustainable)

      Does the job and smells absolutely wonderful! Light and citrus-y. Best of all, a more sustainable option that supports some great causes and contains simple ingredients that are actually good for your skin. Only thing I wish was different is for the glass bottle and Mylar refills to be made from recycled material in the first place, not just be recyclable. Otherwise, I recommend it.

      I have been using this oil for about 4 weeks and so far I love it! I have oily, acne prone skin and other face cleansing oils make me breakout. I got a sample of this face oil and almost threw it away because of my previous bad luck with other lines. I guess I was feeling risky because I decided to try it and I love it! After using the sample for 2 weeks I bought the full size bottle.
