Lovingly handmade under fair-trade conditions from cruelty-free wool and unbleached cotton thread, these forever-reusable garlands are as gentle on the planet as they are beautiful. They come in two sizes — regular and large — and include a drawstring cotton storage bag for easy keeping.
The large garland features 84 wool balls, each 1" (2.5 cm) in diameter, strung along an impressive 21 ft cotton string. When beads are touching, the garland measures 7 ft, but you can space them out to stretch up to 21 ft, or even cut it in half to create two 10 ft garlands. Pair it with our handmade wooly ornaments for a complete festive look.
Handmade by Nepalese women artisans using cruelty-free New Zealand wool, vegetable soap, warm water, and unbleached cotton thread, each garland is colored with eco-friendly, azo-free dyes. Plastic-free and fully sustainable, these garlands are designed to last for years.
End of Life: Fully compostable.
Note: Beads are threaded on one side of the string and can be spaced as desired. To prevent tangling, gather the beads on one end and wrap the extra string around the bobbin before storing. Each garland is individually handmade, so slight variations in bead size and final length add to its unique charm.
