This silicone sleeve fits The Leaf Pivoting Head Stainless Steel Razor, providing additional grip while in the shower. It is custom molded out of silicone to fit the handle perfectly. You can slide it on, and remove it whenever you like.
How to apply the grip to your Pivoting Head Stainless Steel Razor:
- Slick up your handle - Wet your razor handle and apply a small amount of soap to the handle to get it slick. Wet the inside of the grip sleeve.
- Slide on grip - Wrap a towel around the sleeve so that you can get a good grip on it. Position the small end of the grip at the bottom of the razor handle and push it on. Wrap a cloth around the wet grip to make pulling it up easier. Bring it to the bottom of the "Y" at the peak of the handle.
- Rinse thoroughly - Once positioned, rinse the soap-assist clean. Run water through the grip sleeve on the handle, inside the top, through the bottom, and through the sides. Keep rinsing until you feel the grip holding the handle instead of sliding around. Let it dry a bit, the sleeve should be firmly grabbing the handle now.

After owning the leaf razor with the pivoting head for 2 months, I’ve noticed that the metal itself has gotten water stains from it sitting on a shower shelf, as well as the razor blades having the words “I am not plastic” rinsing off whenever I go to clean the razor.
Despite these minor flaws, I still love my leaf shave razor and would not want to use anything else! The grip works better with rinsed hands, not soapy hands. However, if your hands are a little soapy, the razor won’t slide around as much as it would without the grip.
As others have said, I sorta wish the grip came in fun patterns/different colors, as I have the limited edition “spruce” color.
Definitely recommend getting this if youre using this razor for shaving your whole body! Handle gets a little slippery without it!
Blades are easy to install and remove. I clean and dry both the blades and the housing after every shave. Smooth, long-lasting shave. Glad I left disposible razors behind!
A bit hard to get on, but definitely an improvement from always worrying about dropping the razor! Please get other colors.
