If you only buy one Dew Mighty product, buy this one. Refined enough to use on the face, but moisturizing enough for elbows and heels. When I originally bought the smaller size, I thought it was too expensive to use as a regular lotion bar, but I kept finding myself “sneaking” to use it instead of my other lotions/bars. I always said if I ever found a company that “*really* did it right”, I would be willing to pay more, and DM really does it right. Products that work as well as conventional products with absolutely NO plastic. So I put my money where my mouth is and have a subscription that includes this block!
Photo: My shoulders were sunburnt while gardening. That evening, I applied Oasis to the worse-burned left shoulder and applied moisture gel beads + Kate McLeod lotion bar on the less-burned right shoulder. The next morning, I was surprised that only my right shoulder was painful (R photo - the one that was ironically LESS burnt). When I looked in the mirror, the left/Oasis side (L photo) was barely pink, while the other side was still dark pink/red! (I didn’t get “before” pics - I didn’t expect there to be much difference!)
P.S. Don’t throw away the little pieces at the end! When your block gets too small to use like a bar or starts falling to pieces, wrap it in a small piece of cheesecloth so you can use it to the last drop! (This works for full-size blocks, too, if you have trouble hanging on to them or worry you will drop them and get them dirty. Getting dog/cat/people hair off a lotion bar is a daunting task, but if kept in a layer of cheesecloth, it is easier to clean off or you can just change the cheesecloth.)
