Sadly, some trash is unavoidable. While curbside recycling and reducing your waste at home can have a huge impact on what ends up in landfills, some types of waste need a specialty recycling center to get the job done.

With TerraCycle's Zero Waste Boxes, you can collect your hard-to-recycle materials, and ship them to TerraCycle for free! Terracycle will then properly recycle the items. With the Personal Care & Beauty Box, you can recycle non-electrical hair care and styling tools such as brushes, combs, picks, clips, hairbands, headwraps, bobby pins, hair ties, scrunchies, shampoo and conditioner bottles, detangler bottles, gel packaging, non pressurized hair spray bottles, wax jars, pomade tins, hair dye packaging, blow-dryer attachments like combs and diffusers

How to TerraCycle: Choose your size and type of Zero Waste Box. When you receive your box, fill it with the corresponding waste. Once full, ship your box back to TerraCycle using the free, prepaid shipping label which will already be on your box. When they receive your box, they'll safely recycle all of the collected materials!

Sizes: Small: 11" x 11" x 20"; Medium: 11" x 11" x 40"; Large: 15" x 15" x 37"

Packaging: In order to protect the box during shipment, your TerraCycle box will be wrapped in a plastic bag. When you receive your box, just put the plastic bag inside and TerraCycle will ensure it gets recycled properly!

*Unaccepted waste: No electronic items such as blow dryers and straighteners, any bio-medical or bio-hazardous waste or any contents of packaging such as nail polish, lotion, soap or ointments. No organics, broken glass, bio-medical waste, soiled diapers, expired medication, pesticides, paint, pressurized canisters or medical sharps

End of life: Send box back to TerraCycle using the prepaid shipping label to have contents recycled properly

Shipping: Ships within 5 - 7 business days directly from TerraCycle; TerraCycle items are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other offshore territories.
